We collect information in three categories:

• Account data: name, email, authentication identifiers, and settings needed to create and secure your account.
• Workspace data: idea prompts, discovery responses, generated outputs, council verdicts, and exported artifacts you choose to create.
• Technical and usage data: device, browser, IP address, approximate location, page interactions, and logs used for reliability, abuse prevention, and performance.

• Provide and maintain the product experience, including sign-in, session security, and data persistence.
• Generate analysis and AI-assisted outputs based on your workspace inputs.
• Improve product quality, evaluate feature usage, and diagnose failures or service degradation.
• Communicate transactional messages, security notifications, and material policy updates.
• Protect against fraud, unauthorized access, and misuse of the platform.

Where required by applicable law, we process personal data under one or more legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as improving security and reliability), legal obligations, and consent where explicitly requested.

IdeaCouncil uses third-party AI providers to process prompts and generate responses. Your inputs may be sent to those providers only for the purpose of delivering requested features. We configure integrations to reduce unnecessary data exposure and follow provider controls available for privacy and retention.

You should not submit sensitive personal data, health data, payment card numbers, or other regulated information into free-form prompts unless you are authorized and comfortable with that processing.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers that host infrastructure, authentication, analytics, billing, or AI processing.
• Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
• Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards.

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active, and afterward only as needed for legal, tax, audit, dispute, and security purposes. Retention windows may vary by data type and jurisdiction.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No system is 100% secure, but we continuously improve controls and incident response practices.

• Access, correct, or delete certain account information through product settings where available.
• Request export or deletion of workspace content, subject to legal and security constraints.
• Opt out of non-essential communications using unsubscribe links in email messages.
• Disable cookies or tracking technologies in your browser (some features may be impacted).

IdeaCouncil is not intended for children under 13 (or higher minimum age where required locally). If we learn that we collected personal information from a child without valid authorization, we will take steps to remove it.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections and equivalent security controls.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app or by email before they take effect, where required by law.
